Tranport
Main railway and road corridors of national and international importance pass through the territory of the municipality. Vratsa is the cross point of two of the biggest European transport corridors – No 4 and No 7.

Corridor No 4 - Dresden/ Nurnberg - Prague - Vienna/Bratislava - Budapest Craiova/Constantia - Vidin - Vratsa - Sofia - Thessaloniki/Plovdiv - Istanbul. Corridor No 7 - Rein - Main - Danube (Danube water way).

International roads

Е 79 - Greece – West Bulgaria; Sofia - Vidin - Craiova ІІ - 15 – Vratsa – Ferryboat Oryahovo - Bechet.

The city transport of Vratsa consists of trolley buses, buses, route taxis (micro-buses), and taxis.
Buses travel from the bus station in Vratsa both to all villages in the municipality and to the big towns in North-western Bulgaria. The buses from Vratsa to Sofia and back travel every hour (from 6.00 till 18.00 h).

The duration of the trip to the capital by bus takes about an hour and a half, by train – two hours.
